Wish we were closer to each other so we could hang out- That would be just about one of the coolest things ever.

Thanks for the commiseration, and I know you know what I'm talking about:)

The former manager (from whom we rented) knows about the new managers' pet, and the other tenant's kitties. He has a dog, too, plus he seems to spend a little time here and there with the upstairs ladies himself (guess that's how they got to be the new managers).

I have flashers more than floaters...never had a single one till shortly after my return to Alaska in 2005. Now I have them pretty regularly. They give me vertigo for some reason and make me feel nauseous. Just getting older I guess. Didn't you get yours from a torn or detached retina? Mine just...happened.

Oh, I'm so sorry you're feeling bad now. Wish we were closer to each other so we could hang out- -I know all about the loneliness. It's part of what's killing me here.

I wish I had good advice about your upstairs neighbors, but I've had too many bad experiences to know how to handle it without causing a rift. Maybe you could talk to the one who doesn't yell outside? Maybe it's a simple matter of not realizing how much noise they're making. In any case, I do hope you get some peace from them.

Does the manager now know about the future managers' pets? That's completely unfair. However, we're only allowed to have one cat, and you know how many pets we have. Maybe you can get away with having a housepet.

I hope your floaters don't get worse. Remember what I called mine? A shit weasel.
